The experience at the show was quite difficult and really put a dent in our business.
Long story short….
We got scammed.
National Event Management raised booth prices to 1200$ without proper staffing…
We were advertised foot traffic levels of 6000 people and got less than 1/3 of that.
This crushed many small local Ottawa businesses.
It took me over a month to recover .
I encourage you to avoid event hosted by National Event Management if you truly are a supporter of small business.
They are criminals.
ALL WHICH IS TO SAY : I am working on next steps to action legislative change that will protect event vendors from being duped and taken advantage of.
